Seize the Moment ! Love, Love Love!

I found this adorable tiny canvas ( it only measures 2" x 3") with an  easel in a shop today, quite quite random!, but thought 'Hey!, why not?'  I'm hooked on the Noor products at the mo, & since the Noor Design challenge for January is in the theme of Love.... I wanted to enter this little darling creation! The Doobadoo texture paste is something I'm a great fan of!  Truth be told, I've discovered long forgotten (& dear friends I confess.... Barely - if ever, used stash!). So with the addition of some of the gorgeous Noor Designs roll up Roses,
Hearts.... Papers from the Romance pad, & some very very indispensable glitter!!, well you can't have too much of that can you?  The 'Carpe Diem' & xoxo Valentine Dies appear too!  (DoH looked at the finished item, was surprised by the size...... but asked if I'd lost the letter 'T' from 'Carpe' !!!!! - well of course, one would have carpet in an artistic creation about love, wouldn't one? - what did he think this was?, something from 50 shades? Honestly!!
It was fun to make, I do hope you like & thanks for stopping by.  Until next time.... x

'Love' Challenge no 2 (for January) with Love for Noor Design UK

Couldn't resist this fabulous Noor Design challenge, especially since I won a voucher in the December Challenge! Lots of new goodies to play with!! I chose the new Dutch Doobadoo MDF word 'LOVE' which is after all the theme of the challenge.  This is my work today, I'm quite pleased with the finished result, mind you, one could go on fiddling for ever..... But since it's a working clock.... Time marches on!

Adding of course the awesome Texture Paste! (& glitter) with the hearts mask. I even splodged the lace with the texture paste, I think it improved it rather!  The clock hands got shortened a little, & I painted them with nail varnish, adding tiny hearts & a 'kiss' to each of the hands.

The tiny wreath - or Garland, was to represent the circle of Life... & Love.
Made from a piece of twisted wire with seam binding tied on..... & sprayed with a variety of shimmer inks from my stash (I have had them for... well, ever!)
So that's it, my challenge effort for the January Challenge! Hope you like - I'm off to the sink to try & remove some of the ink off my fingers.  Thanks for stopping by.
