'Spring' is Sprung!

I confess its been a week or three since I 'blogged', but life, love & the universe stepped in, won't bore you with that!, however...... to quote dear Arnie...'I'm Back'!!

I have my contribution to the Noor Design February Challenge; Spring is my fave time of the year.... new life, new beginnings - so..... 'Time' was my operative word - I found a wonderful piece of 12" x 12" in my stash which I've had for, well .... ever!, but it teamed up so nicely with the Dutch Doobadoo soft board bricks, that it just begged to be used.

Using a very large MDF letter - I cut the rest of the word (pring) out multiple times on my Cricut.... glued them all together...Ta Dah!

DoH got roped in to make the hole for the clock mechanism  ... & I painted the hands with yellow nail polish!  Sticking tiny glittered butterflies from the Noor butterfly border onto the ends of the hands... Its so cute!!!

Lots of Dutch Doobadoo texture paste & Glamour Dust glitter.... well, no season is complete without it!!  The gorgeous Dutch Doobadoo masks came in here.... I like these, they are new to me, so jolly fun to play with.

The big butterflies are from Noor too.... ok ok, I confess...... Im hooked! all coloured with distress inks and Glamour dust, then layered with a bit of added 'Bling' to the centres!

I  used a couple of other dies - the Noor 1002 Circle die, I just love this die, its so versatile! .... and a JoyCrafts die 0289 Bille's Circle... this is an old fave - don't even know if its still available.... but a jolly good one to have in the stash!  I added a little metal watering can embelly filled with flowers and vellum leaves, liberally coated with texture paste and coloured with distress inks too.

So, thats it... my contribution to the Noor February 'Spring' challenge!  I had sooooo much fun designing this, all I have to do now is find a lovely space to hang the clock - I've run out of wall space in my workroom, so perhaps this creation will have to hang indoors!

So, I hope you like - thanks for stopping by - Leave a comment, be kind! Until next time, TTFN. x
